Oshane Mamby known as JahDon is gaining major attention with hit song Congo Bongo. Irie FM’s Mama Elise calls it her “song of 2017”. The music video, shot by filmmaker 300KJA is released and is amassing international audiences via various social media platforms. JahDon is no stranger to the international scene, he has had numerous overseas promotional tours and is currently promoting the Congo Bongo EP.
The Caanan Heights, Clarendon native, began his musical career with local music group “Breddaz Fraternity”. He started to generate local buzz as a solo artist with fan favorites “Mother In Law”, “Sleepless Nights” and “Jah Army”. He was an opening act for reggae legend, Everton Blender at the Hollywood Casino in 2014 and reggae group, Black Uru in 2015. His most recent work includes opening for Freddie McGregor at the 55th Jamaica Independence Fun Day at the Riveria Beach Marina, Capelton at Portland Jam Fest and Ernie Smith & Friends in Concert in Hanover.
Congo Bongo (produced by Audio Traxx), is receiving major response from Jamaican, internet and international disc jockeys and radio stations. He registered his music company Look Ya Noww Entertainment and is collaborating with Bacchus Entertainment Services Ltd. to promote and market his brand and the Congo Bongo EP, which is being distributed digitally.
