Christine Williams also known as Fancy Lady was born to parents Dobsie Williams and Clinton Williams on July 27, 1986 in the parish of St. Catherine, Jamaica.

Fancy started writing music at the tender age of 9 years old. In 1998, she started her musical journey with a group of girls who were also her cousins, they were known as ¨Fancy Face Girls¨. The group performed displaying their talent through singing and dancing but after few years the group got separated and the girls went in different fields. Fancy became a nail technician shortly after giving birth to her first child at the age of 16. She now resides in Toronto, Canada.

Even though Fancy did other things including modelling, designing and cheer-leading in the Magnificent Troopers marching band, music was always on her first passion.

Fancy became a part ‎of another music group, consisting of 4 members: Marvin Chin, Mr. Snipes, Bobby Slice and herself. The group was called “Team S.M.P.” The track “Summer Time” was produced by Marvin Chin for Sonic Beats Studio and SMP Production. The group had performed at a few shows and was becoming successful but didn’t last long. Fancy Lady began to work with other producers as she grew and became more known. She did other track such as “Funjoyment” produced by Cory from Music force, ‘Rolling Out’ produced by Faze from Fizzle Production, ‘Happy Holiday’ produced by SK from Harddryve Records and the list goes on.

She has done collaboration various artists in Canada. Artists like Eyesus, Bobby Slice, Guchi Automatic, Faze and Norval Edgehill to name a few.

Fancy has performed on various shows in Canada such as “Buss”, the all Canadian stage show. She was also featured in the Reggae Xclusive Magazine more than once and was awarded for New Voice in Reggae 2014. And was a major success at Buss 2017.

Fancy Lady is currently the Marketing Manager for the online radio show called Blue box Radio Active (based in the U.K.).
