AMERICAN reggae band SOJA tops the Billboard Reggae Album Chart. The group’s sixth studio album, Poetry in Motion, moved from number eight to one.

This is SOJA’s fourth chart-topping release. Its previous number one titles were Strength to Survive (2012), and the Grammy-nominated Amid the Noise and Haste (2014), and SOJA: Live in Virginia (2016).

Poetry In Motion, like the group’s previous titles, was released on ATO Records, a label founded by veteran rocker Dave Matthews. It contains 11 tracks.

Last week’s number one, Marching Orders by The Green, falls to two, while Damian Marley’s Stony Hill falls to three.

Chronology by Chronixx rises from seven to four, while Rebelution’s Falling Into Place slips from four to five.

Former chart-topper Lost in Paradise by Common Kings rises from 13 to six, and Jesse Royal’s Lily of Da Valley tumbles from three to seven.

Major Lazer’s Know No Better (EP) inches up to eight. Occupying positions nine and 10 is The Frightnrs with More To Say Versions and Nothing More to Say, respectively.

Reggae Gold 2017 rises from 14 to 11.

Holding firm at 12 is the various artistes compilation Studio One Supreme: Maximum 70s & 80s Early Dancehall Sounds, while A Kingston Story: Come from Far by New Kingston is 13.

Sizzla’s I’m Yours falls from six to 14. Completing the top 15 is Live at Red Rocks by Rebelution.
